Head Hunter Challenge
Gunline Shooting is excited to introduce a new and challenging match format that will test your speed, precision, and adaptability! Here’s everything you need to know:
Service Rifle & Open Class:
Calling all Military & Law Enforcement snipers! We have built a class just for you, Service Rifle Class. This class is restricted to .308 Winchester, .223 Remington, or 5.56 NATO calibers.
The Open Class only has a speed restriction of less than 3200 FPS.
New Match Format:
In each of the 4 stages, you’ll have 2 minutes to find and engage the targets with 1 round per target. The total round count for the challenge is 21.
Entry Details:
Cost per Attempt: $20
Unlimited Attempts: Shoot as many times as you want throughout the year to improve your score. Military and Law Enforcement shooters are welcome to choose to shoot in the Open class.
Prize Pool By Class:
$5 out of each entry fee will go towards the prize pool. Service Rifle and Open Class will have separate Prize Pools.
The prize pool will be divided among the top 3 shooters in each class at the end of the year:
1st Place: 60% of the prize pool
2nd Place: 30% of the prize pool
3rd Place: 10% of the prize pool
The Whitefeather Title:
The shooters with the highest Challenge score in thier class throughout the year will be crowned the “Whitefeather” of Gunline Shooting, earning the ultimate bragging rights!

Show up and shoot Tuesday - Saturday 8-5 during the year for your chance to win, improve your skills, and become the Gunline Shooting Whitefeather Champion! Shooting this challenge will depend on RO availability, please feel free to call ahead and make sure we can score for you.
